BLOG #2 A warm October and a stunning start to the year! A quick note to keep you updated on how things are progressing at Larwood. Pupils have settled in really well, and this includes new pupils that may have only been with us for a few weeks. We have seen many make some notable progress in comparison to how things may have been before they joined us. Thank you to all parents for your support with this.

So far this year, we have had a group of Year 6 pupils attend a fantastic charity fishing trip (they all caught or shared their fish with each other), an amazing McMillan Coffee morning with over 30 parents in attendance, some Pobble Time Travel workshops for pupils supporting writing, and had a visit from Captain Morgan! The latter making Maths a little bit more fun for some of our pupils.

Our residential consultation closed on September 28th and all information relating to this will now be processed, and collated so that the Governing Body can make a final decision on Tuesday 16th October. I will pass this decision, as soon as I can.

    POLITE REMINDER

Please do not book holidays during term time. It is not acceptable, it will not be authorised and you may be fined. If you do, please note that you will be required to attend a school based meeting to discuss this matter.
