AMO (Adapted Meaningful Opportunities) is an across-the-trust bespoke provision within the Brighter Futures Educational Trust. It offers predominantly 1:1 or very small group activities that are tailored to meet the needs of the children accessing it. Here at AMO we offer activities such as Mentoring, Music (DJ’ing and Music Production), Outdoor Education, Forest School, Cooking and Social Games to name but a few.

The purpose of AMO is to ensure that children who access our Trust have their learning opportunities supplemented by the bespoke ‘hands-on’ offer at AMO. Working closely with the settings within our trust interventions can be tailored to support the individual by utilising an APDR (Assess Plan Do Review) format, following a referral process, ultimately helping to support our children who may be at risk of permanent exclusion within our specialist settings.
